If you are just starting out and want to experiment with Adobe Character Animator, there are a TON of resources to help you in mastering this exciting new software!
Free Dudley is our own freebie here at ElectroPuppet. You may have seen him on the Adobe Character Animator ‘More Puppets’ page. Free Dudley is from the ‘Walk & Talk’ series of puppets. He will synch to your voice (live or prerecorded) as well as mirror your smile, surprised look and head position.
And that’s not all. Free Dudley comes with a number of trigger keys. Hit the ‘Q’ key and he’ll look quizzical. Hit ‘W’ and he’ll look worried. ‘A’ makes him angry, ‘S’ surprised. ‘B’ will make him blink, or hit ‘N’ to make him wink.
Dudley also comes with a whole set of actions. Press a number and he can shrug, point, gesture or have an idea. If you press the left or right arrow keys, Free Dudley will take a walk!
And don’t worry about remembering all the trigger keys, we’ve included a trigger sheet for quick reference.
To get Free Dudley, all you have to do is subscribe to our newsletter ‘ElectroBuzz’ and we’ll email you a link straight away! So what are you waiting for!?!
